Bahrain s iconic tower makes it to Spanish magazine cover MANAMA, December 30, 2020 Bahrain s iconic Green Corner Building has made it to the cover of El Croquis, a bilingual English-Spanish magazine specialised in international designs and architectural works.   The magazine embellished the cover of its latest issued with a picture of the iconic edifice, which is part of the Shaikh Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa Centre for Culture and Research in the City Muharraq, reported BNA.   A floor of the four-storey building will be allocated to restoration of old paintings and books, and another will be used for cultural promotion in Bahrain.   This is the second time El Croquis, one of the most prestigious architectural magazines in the world, values an iconic building in Bahrain, after dedicating its cover for the first time to the “Dar Al-Muharraq”, which is run by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, stated the report.
