China has proposed a four-point initiative to overcome differences and deepen relations, amid increasing strain in Sino-India ties. The initiative includes aligning its ‘One Belt One Road’ project with India’s ‘Act East Policy’ and restarting negotiations on a free trade pact.
The proposal put forward by Chinese envoy Luo Zhaohui also includes starting negotiations on a ‘China-India Treaty of Good Neighbourliness and Friendly Cooperation’ and prioritising finding an early solution to the border dispute between the two countries.

Islamabad [Pakistan], December 20 (ANI): Amid a worsening Covid-19 situation in Pakistan, as many as 80 people succumbed to the virus during the last 24 hours, pushing the national death toll from the virus to 9,330.
ARY News reported that 2,615 new coronavirus cases were reported in the country on Saturday, taking the national tally of infections to 457,288, according to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC)
The NCOC informed that the positivity rate of fresh Covid-19 cases currently stands at 7.02 per cent, while the number of active cases in Pakistan is 40,553.

UKPNP slams EU Disinfo Lab report, says Pakistan diverting attention from real issues

Nasir Aziz Khan, central spokesperson of United Kashmir People s National Party (UKPNP) slammed a report by EU Disinfo Lab, claiming that the report was used in Pakistan to divert people s attention from real issues. This [EU Disinfo Lab] is a private NGO which has no relation with the European Parliament, European Commission or the European Union. The findings of this report were exaggeratedly presented in Pakistan, which was used by the country s Foreign Minister to claim that they had busted a huge scam, he said in an interview with Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) activist Dr Shabir Chaudhary.
