Islamabad [Pakistan], May 26 (ANI): A Islamabad-based journalistAsad Ali Toor, known for criticism of the country s establishment, was attacked in Pakistan s capital late on Tuesday.
The attackers broke into his house and attacked him, SAMAA Digital reported citing his friend and journalist Asad Malik. He was brutally beaten and we are taking him to Pakistan Institute of Medical Science, he added.
Toor s fellow journalists across the country condemned the attack. Condemn attack on journalist @AsadAToor at his house in Islamabad worried about his safety #IStandWithAsadToor #JournalismIsNotACrime, journalist Mubashir Zaidi tweeted.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health Dr. Faisal Sultan Monday paid emergency visit to hospitals to inspect medical facilities including the coronavirus vaccine.
The SAPM also visited the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS). Dr. Faisal Sultan said it is our religious and moral duty to serve humanity.
On the other hand, Pakistan reported 57 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 903,599. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 20,308.

The world’s largest free mobile restaurant services would be jointly provided by AAA Associates, a leading group of companies, and JDC Foundation (Jafaria Disaster Management Cell).
The launching ceremony of first free mobile restaurant in Islamabad has been graced by Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony Noor-ul-Haq Qadri and Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari.

Doctors overlooked families in Ramazan for patients

In Ramazan, a majority of doctors working in the hospitals of Rawalpindi and Islamabad traditionally used to have ‘sehris’ and ‘iftars’ with their families. This Ramazan because of the dangerous the third wave of coronavirus pandemic, they remained away from their dear ones because of carrying out their professional duties at hospitals.
“This year’s Ramazan was unique for us the doctors as we observed the holy month in a different atmosphere, and what we went through this Ramazan represents a pivotal historical moment and a page in the contemporary history of the medical profession,” says Dr. Bano Rizvi from Shifa Hospital.
