RAWALPINDI: Pakistan International Airlines special flight departed for Zimbabwe’s capital Harare on Monday to bring back Pakistan Cricket Team and their officials.
A PIA spokesman said the 29-member squad of Pakistan cricket team and officials will reach Lahore on Tuesday.
According to Covid-19 SOPs for inbound travelers , the team members will be quarantined on arrival and they will undergo Rapid Antigen Test and RT-PCR test.
Pakistan cricket team had been on tour of Zimbabwe where they played tests and T-20 matches.

Pakistan batting coach Younis Khan believes that picking only young players in ODIs and the T20I squad is not correct. Although Khan supports the point that T20I and ODI cricket is about young blood, he also believes that it is important to induct experienced players into the squad.

NEW DELHI: The Pakistan cricket team, led by Babar Azam, will have no difficulty in travelling to India for the ICC World T20 in October as the government is set to grant visas to the players from the neighbouring nation.
It has been learnt that BCCI secretary Jay Shah has informed the Apex Council about government s decision on giving visas to the Pakistan players. The visa issue of Pakistan cricket team has been sorted. However whether the fans can travel across the border to watch matches is still not clear, an Apex Council member told PTI on conditions of anonymity.
