Sana’s indictment delayed in drugs case National March 7, 2021 LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah could not be indicted in a drug-trafficking case on Saturday. The court had set March 6 for indictment of the accused including Rana Sanaullah. However, a counsel for Sanaullah submitted an application for exemption from personal appearance, at the start of the proceedings. He submitted that Rana Sanaullah was in Islamabad to attend an important meeting. He pleaded with the court for granting one-time exemption from personal appearance to his client. The court, after hearing arguments of parties, allowed the application. However, the court issued notices to guarantors of Rana Sanaullah and directed them to ensure the presence of Rana Sanaullah on March 20. Sanaullah’s counsel requested the court no to issue notices to the guarantors.

Ag Agencies ISLAMABAD: As the government and its allied lawmakers gathered in the National Assembly for Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vote of confidence, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers present outside the assembly exchanged blows and harsh words with the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leaders and workers, who had arrived there for a press conference. As the PML-N leaders started the press talk, they were surrounded by an angry crowd, which attempted to drown them out with sloganeering in support of the prime minister and the ruling party. Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Musaddiq Malik, Miftah Ismail, Ahsan Iqbal and Marriyum Aurangzeb criticised the PTI government and Prime Minister Imran Khan, calling him a fascist and comparing him to Hitler.
