The California Mid-State Fair on Wednesday announced that country music superstars Little Big Town have been confirmed to perform in concert on Friday, July 30 at 7:30 p.m. An opening act will be announced at a later date, the fair said in a news release.

Pageant takes place on the first day of the fair, Wednesday, July 21
–Applications are now being accepted for the 2021 Miss California Mid- State Fair Scholarship Pageant. Contestants must be between the ages of 17-24 on the opening day of the 2021 fair, be a current resident of San Luis Obispo County, and have never been married.
Each contestant will compete in the following four categories: Interview, talent, final question, and evening wear. If selected as Queen or Princess, she must be able to attend every day of the 2021 fair, participating in numerous public events such as introducing performers, taking pictures, and meeting with various dignitaries.

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. San Luis Obispo County is preparing to close down its three large-scale community vaccination clinics later this week. We will be closing those three clinic sites after Friday, said Michelle Shoresman, San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department spokesperson. Friday is the last day we re giving vaccinations at the South County Regional Center, the Paso Robles Event Center and Cuesta College.
Since the first vaccinations went into arms in December 2020, the Public Health Department has administered the majority of doses distributed in the county.

Jurassic Empire opened in Paso Robles Friday evening.
It s a drive-thru event where the whole family can enjoy moving, breathing, massive dinosaurs.
The event is happening at the Paso Robles Event Center, where life-like animatronic dinosaurs are being displayed.
That display includes the T-Rex, Spinosaurus, Velociraptor, and approximately 60 other dinosaur species.
This is an event that travels across the nation, with Paso Robles being the first stop in the tour.
After visiting the Central Coast the event will make its way to Denver, Co, Albuquerque, NM, and other locations in California.
