An abandoned nightspot and car garage can be seen once again - as work continues on a supermarket development.
Trees and bushes have been removed to reveal the former Streben car garage and the Evergreens nightspot on Cobridge Road, in Cobridge.
They have been hidden from view for years after being covered by the overgrown foliage. It is not exactly clear when Evergreens closed. The Sentinel archive reveals it was definitely open for the 2002 World Cup.
