I grew up in the Philadelphia area, and I'm sharing the best things in the city.
Tourists should visit the Neon Museum, Elfreth's Alley, South Street, and the Liberty Bell.
They should eat and drink at Tattooed Mom, Kalaya, Middle Child, Suraya, and The Tasty.
Philadelphia is the sixth-largest city in the United States. Although it's famous for its avid sports fans, ubiquitous cheesesteaks, and the "Rocky" film series, there's much more to explore in this creative metropolis.

It features photos and bios of non-medical essential workers in the neighborhood.
The East Passyunk Avenue holiday tradition of showing support for community members through a window display continues in 2020.
Dave Christopher and Kate Mellina of the photo website and blog Unexpected Philadelphia have installed illuminated photos of local neighbors and merchants in their building's 27 windows for the past few winters.
This year, the display honors non-medical essential workers who have kept the neighborhood going through the pandemic. There are photos of mail carriers, SEPTA bus drivers, sanitation workers, grocery staff and others.

Celebrate the holidays on East Passyunk
The East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District is celebrating the holiday season.
“We want people to enjoy the holidays here on East Passyunk with a variety of options that bring a feeling of festiveness while staying safe,” said Adam Leiter, executive director of EPABID. “Whether you’re finding unique gifts from our local shops, coming for a private shopping appointment, grabbing food at an outdoor table or to go, or getting a holiday haircut, there’s an opportunity to enjoy a variety of socially distanced holiday activities.”
A tree has been lit and will remain at the Singing Fountain.
