The Maharashtra paediatric and Covid-19 task force have recommended Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to administer flu shots to kids before the onset of monsoon. As symptoms of flu and Covid-19 are overlapping, the task force believes that the flu shot will help avert panic among parents.
The chief minister has assured that he would look into the recommendation. Uddhav Thackeray has also sought more details on whether children with asymptomatic Covid-19 could take the flu shot.
