OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board has received notification of a student that has tested positive for COVID-19. The Northwestern Health Unit has directed the KPDSB to close two classrooms at Beaver Brae effective today (Sunday, February 28, 2021). The positive case is being followed up with by the Northwestern Health Unit and all contacts of the case are being called today and given instructions by public health. The school board says it is working with NWHU to make sure all potential risks are minimized. Due to COVID-19 prevention strategies in place, those families who have not been contacted directly by public health or our staff the afternoon of February 28, 2021, are deemed to be at no additional risk and can continue to attend school as usual.
