Born in Semarang, Central Java, on November 3, 1962, Trenggono is currently serving as the deputy defense minister. The businessman and politician was also treasurer of the National Mandate Party (PAN) from 2009 to 2013. He later served as the treasurer of Widodo’s campaign team when he ran for presidency in 2014.

Bloomberg THE country’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has committed itself to mass-producing battery-based electric motorised vehicles by 2025 to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The programme aims to produce at least 19,000 units of four-wheeled vehicles and 750,000 units of two-wheeled vehicles by 2025. Based on the latest data, the ministry estimated that if that many electric vehicles were provided in the country by 2025, greenhouse gas emissions could potentially be reduced by 283,000 tonnes of CO2-e (carbon dioxide equivalent).

Based on data as of Dec 16 this year, the ministry estimated that if such a number of electric vehicles had been provided in the country by 2025, there would be a potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 283,000 tons of CO2-e (Carbon dioxide equivalent).
