Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Friday that he would be ordering flags to half-staff statewide on Sunday in memory of those who lost their lives in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in 2018.
Governor Greg Abbott today announced that the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) has launched the Texas Rent Relief Program the first statewide rent and utility assistance program for qualifying households throughout Texas. DENVER â Gov. Jared Polis ordered flags lowered at half-staff Feb. 6 to honor FBI Special Agent Laura Schwartzenberger, who was killed in the line of duty Tuesday.
Flags are ordered to be lowered from sunrise to sunset on all public buildings across Colorado.
âAs the FBI family, the law enforcement family, and the Colorado community grieve the loss of these heroes, we will honor their ultimate sacrifice by continuing our mission to protect the American people,â said Denver FBI Special Agent in Charge Michael Schneider.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) â In an executive order signed Friday, Governor Ron DeSantis ordered state buildings to fly their flags at half staff in honor of the two FBI agents killed in a shootout in Florida Tuesday.
The order says the flags of the United States and the State of Florida will be flown at half-staff at the Broward County Courthouse in Fort Lauderdale, the City Hall of Parkland, and at the State Capitol in Tallahassee from sunrise on to sunset on Saturday, February 6, 2021.

DENVER â Gov. Jared Polis ordered flags lowered to half-staff on all public buildings statewide for tomorrow, Saturday, February 6 to honor FBI Special Agent Laura Schwartzenberger.
Special Agent Schwartzenberger and Special Agent Daniel Alfin were both killed in the line of duty in Miami on Tuesday while attempting to serve a search warrant as part of a criminal investigation into violent crimes against children. Three other agents were also wounded in the incident.
Special Agent Schwartzenberger was a native of Pueblo and graduated from South High School in 1996,. She is survived by her husband, who is also from Pueblo, and two children.
