Jared Polis ordered flags lowered to half-staff on all public buildings statewide for tomorrow, Saturday, February 6 to honor FBI Special Agent Laura Schwartzenberger. Special Agent Schwartzenberger and Special Agent Daniel Alfin were both killed in the line of duty in Miami on Tuesday while attempting to serve a search warrant as part of a criminal investigation into violent crimes against children. Three other agents were also wounded in the incident. Special Agent Schwartzenberger was a native of Pueblo and graduated from South High School in 1996,. She is survived by her husband, who is also from Pueblo, and two children.
