Falls, South Dakota, convicted of Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled
Substance have been sentenced.
sentenced on February 10, 2021, to 240 months in federal prison, followed by
five years of supervised release, and a special assessment to the Federal Crime

Abdi Abdullahi Ismail, a/k/a Ish, a/k/a Juice, age 24, was sentenced
on January 22, 2021, to 157 months in federal prison, followed by five years of
supervised release, and a special assessment to the Federal Crime Victims
Fund in the amount of $100.
Ismail and Terrett were indicted by a federal grand jury on March 3,
2020. Terrett pled guilty on September 3, 2020 and Ismail pled guilty on

Today, the Honourable David Lametti, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada and Treasury Board President Jean-Yves Duclos, announced the Government of Canada s support to Alliance-Jeunesse Chutes-de-la-Chaudière and their work with Maison Marie-Frédéric and other community partners to offer a range of services and activities for individuals of age 16 to 30 who are victims of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation in Lévis / Rive-Sud and Quebec. The Department of Justice is providing a total of $340,447 in financial support to this project through the Victims Fund.
