The SDWA is just one of several statutes EPA is actively considering for additional regulation of PFAS. For example, EPA is considering hazardous substance and hazardous waste designations under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) and/or the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).
