TT Electronics, Thales Join Forces to Enable Future Development of Cybersecurity
TT Electronics, a global provider of engineered electronics for performance critical applications, has announced a collaboration agreement with Thales to enable future development of operational technology (OT) based cyber security initiatives and research. These programs will be delivered out of the National Digital Exploitation Centre (NDEC) in Ebbw Vale, South Wales – a project cofounded by the Welsh Government, Thales and University of South Wales. The NDEC is a cornerstone of the Welsh Government’s Tech Valleys initiative, which offers cyber skills and knowledge to South Wales.

In its third quarter, which ended on November 30, BlackBerry reported an adjusted EPS of $0.02 per share, outperforming analysts’ expectation of a loss of $0.01 per share. However, its revenue of US$218 million fell short of analysts’ expectations of $219.7 million. The weak performance from its QNX segment, which offers a portfolio of automotive software solutions, negatively impacted its top line.

The U.S. has agreed to sell two Gulfstream G550 Aircraft with Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Electronic Warfare (AISREW) Mission Systems for $500 million to Italy.
The Foreign Military Sale to the Government of Italy was approved by the U.S. State Department today. According to the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), Italy s government requested two aircraft and supporting equipment including four Multifunctional Information Distribution Systems – Joint Tactical Radio System (MIDS JTRS), three GPS security devices and four RIO Communications Intelligence Systems.
