Prime Minister Scott Morrison said on Saturday he was âsickenedâ by the alleged rape of former Liberal staffer Brittany Higgins and declared the federal âParliament should be setting the standardâ for Australian workplaces.
An under-pressure Mr Morrison also said he was very upset by claims from a second woman that she was sexually assaulted late last year, allegedly by the same former Morrison government staffer, and that âthere is significant work that still remains to be done in the Parliament House work cultureâ.
