When it comes to politics, crystal balls aren’t especially reliable. This is true of the scientific as well as the speculative ones. The scientific crystal balls, national polling outfits, missed the mark in 2020.
So, maybe it’s time for some speculation.
This is a kind of follow-up to a story by Adam Willis that appeared in Forum Company outlets on Dec. 5. He talked to me, and I got some pushback for my comments, specifically about the state’s sitting U.S. senators. So, let’s start there.
