Krista Hoglund, Chief Actuary and Financial Officer at Security Health Plan of Wisconsin, Inc., is among 21 women selected for the Carol Emmott Fellowship’s class of 2021. The Carol Emmott Fellowship was established in 2016 to help address the underrepresentation of women in leadership roles in health care. Each year, this 14-month program brings together women from across the nation, working to increase both their leadership capacity and impact in their communities. During the program participants are paired with a mentor and complete an impact project in their health communities. Hoglund is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics. She has been with Security Health Plan since 2008, serving in multiple roles in the actuarial and business intelligence departments, and was named Chief Actuary and Financial Officer in 2019.
