Delhi HC grills Centre over oxygen supply Updated: Updated: Court asks Delhi govt. to seek help from armed forces to set up field hospitals Share Article Court asks Delhi govt. to seek help from armed forces to set up field hospitals The Delhi High Court on Wednesday asked the city government to explore the possibility of seeking assistance of the armed forces in setting up field hospitals in the Capital, even as it grilled the Centre for its failure to supply the allocated 490 metric tonnes (MT) of oxygen per day to Delhi. “Not for a single day has Delhi received the full allocated quantity [of oxygen]. The primary reason for this is that three of the plants that supply the oxygen are in Durgapur, Rourkela and Kalinganagar all at a distance of not less than 1,600 km,” a Bench of Justices Vipin Sanghi and Rekha Palli said.

India, Kazakhstan agree to further strengthen bilateral defence cooperation New Delhi, Apr 9 (UNI) India and Kazakhstan on Friday agreed to further strengthen bilateral defence cooperation, including through training, defence exercises and capacity building. During the bilateral talks here, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh while interacting with the Kazakhstani delegation led by the Lieutenant General Nurlan Yermekbayev, underscored the need to look at the possibility of defence industrial collaboration of mutual interest. The Defence Minister of Kazakhstan thanked Mr Singh for the opportunity given to the Kazakh troops for deployment as part of the Indian battalion in United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). Both Ministers also positively assessed the annual KAZIND Exercise.
