LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) Lafayette Police are kicking off National Night Out Saturday. It s a community outreach event paired with a sweet treat.
LPD has partnered with Kona Ice for the past two years. This weekend LPD and Kona Ice will serve more than 1,000 free snow cones.
The effort aims to connect with local communities. Owner for Kona Ice in Lafayette, Tim Valiant said he s glad to be a part of something that helps bridge the gap with local law enforcement and citizens.
