Food facilities now have until 31 December 2022 to obtain and submit a UFI with their registration. FDA UFI food facility registration requirement The Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA) requires domestic and foreign facilities that manufacture, process, pack, or hold food for human or animal consumption in the United States to register with the FDA.
