AMMAN A joint statement was issued on Thursday following the discussions between Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh and his Iraqi counterpart Mustafa Al Kadhimi.
The statement said that the discussions focused on facilitating trade and addressing all obstacles facing the flow of trade between the two countries, where both sides agreed to exempt the other side’s products from registration, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The two countries also agreed to speed up procedures to establish the joint economic estate, mainly those pertaining to the privileges that will be granted to the estate.
AMMAN Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Nayef Al Hajraf on Tuesday reiterated deep ties between Jordan and member states of the GCC, expressing keenness on advancing cooperation in various fields.

AMMAN Public schools will be divided according to the number of students and the class time will be reduced to 30 minutes starting from the next semester, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education Najwa Qubeilat told The Jordan Times on Sunday.
AMMAN The recent government decision of students’ return to school next semester has got positive reactions and relief of both parents and teachers. Returning to schools will help students with improving their academic level and their mental and health state, it will also enhance the return of working mothers to their jobs, they said.
