NOWSHERA: Federal Minister for Defence Pervez Khattak said on Sunday that the opposition’s Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) was going through an internal crisis and was headed for a break-up soon.
“There are serious differences over the issue of resignations from the assemblies and sit-in politics among the parties which are part of the PDM,” he said while speaking at two functions here at Manki Shareef and Rashakai areas of the Nowshera district.
The National Assembly Committee on Energy and Natural Resources Chairman Dr Imran Khattak, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate for provincial assembly constituency PK-63 by-poll, Mian Umar Kakakhel, and others were present on the occasion.

Pervez Khattak says opposition’s demand for PM’s resignation unconstitutional

NOWSHERA: Federal Minister for Defence Pervez Khattak said on Sunday the opposition’s Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) was making undemocratic and unconstitutional demands by seeking resignation of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
“If the parties which are part of the PDM are so strong, they should bring a no-trust move against the prime minister in the parliament,” he said while speaking at two functions arranged at Badrashi and Kattikhel areas of the Nowshera district.
Several workers of the Awami National Party headed by Muhammad Arshad Khan, Musaddiq Khan and Mumtaz Khan joined the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on the occasion. The defence minister and Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Energy and Natural Resources Imran Khattak welcomed the new entrants to the ruling party and presented them the party’s caps.
Pakistan to remove hitches in quick completion of CPEC projects

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has vowed to remove hitches in quick completion of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects, Gwadar Pro reported on Sunday.
According to Minister for Planning Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar, Pakistan and China would work together to take the mega CPEC project to new heights. Asad Umar said he would personally hold four meetings in the next two weeks to address all outstanding issues of CPEC projects. “The great nations of Pakistan and China will work together to strengthen CPEC to take it to a higher level for mutual prosperity of both nations”, he said in a tweet.
