LSHTM & Global Health Film series: 2040
Global Health Film and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine are delighted to announce a new partnership to deliver virtual global health film screenings and expert panel discussions through the year. The first season of film screenings will start at 17.15 on Thursday 10 December with the film 2040.
Global Health Film are a registered UK charity using storytelling through film, animation and immersive reality to spark discussion, enhance understanding, and effect positive social change in all areas of global health including planetary health, access to healthcare, mental health, infectious disease, and refugee and migrant health.
2040 is an inspiring film, directed by Damon Gameau, about initiatives that exist to tackle planetary health issues and the technology already at our disposal that we can all use to make a difference. The panel discussion will take place between 18.50 and 19.30.
