New Delhi: If you have some major banking work this week, it is advisable to complete it on Monday as it is most likely that today is the only working day in several states, after which there will be a 4 day holidays break from April 13 to April 16. Banks will be closed for 4 days straight. Banks were also closed on April 10 and April 11 on account of Second Saturday and Sunday respectively.
NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that the four-day Tika Utsav starting April 11 marks the second big war on coronavirus and stressed on the need to maintain personal as well as social hygiene to combat the virus. Today on April 11, which is Jyotiba Phule Jayanti, we are starting the Tika Utsav . It will run till Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti (April 14).
This celebration is, in a way, the beginning of another major war against corona. In this, we have to give special emphasis on personal hygiene as well as social hygiene, the Prime Minister said.
He also listed four essential things that the citizens must remember to combat the virus:
