BOZEMAN, Mont. – Monster truck shows have transformed from the rough and rowdy event into a family-friendly night of entertainment and look to see a revival after the COVID-19 pandemic.

We find the introduction of the mood ring. Two New York inventors bonded liquid crystal to color changing quartz stones and set them into rings. The rings first retailed for a hefty $45.
We find Bob Chandler extensively modifying a Ford F-250 pickup truck to run with humongous tires. The vehicle was given the label “Monster Truck” and soon began wowing crowds in dirt filled arenas.
And we find a song on the radio by Earth Wind & Fire. Maurice White came up with the song after taking a late night walk in Boulder Colorado, and being impressed with the heavenly night sky.
