Like a growing number of colleges nationwide, Cal State San Marcos will hold a traditional in-person commencement this spring but will limit attendance due to the pandemic.
Last year, the virus spread so rapidly CSUSM was limited to holding a drive-through graduation parade. So the campus has decided to open this year’s commencement to the class of 2020 and the class of 2021.
The ceremonies will be spread over two days May 22 and May 23 and be held on Mangrum Track
.
“Attendance and participation will require advance registration and attendance will be very limited,” CSUSM said in a statement. “Due to space restrictions and health and safety guidelines, only two guest invitations may be extended per graduate.”
