AEW Revolution: Jon Moxley Makes Fun of Final Explosion After Show Ends
The final moments of AEW s
Revolution pay-per-view were supposed to end on an emotional moment, as Eddie Kingston ran into the ring to protect a handcuffed Jon Moxley as the ring was rigged to explode. Unfortunately, the blast that went off was a little lackluster, leading to fans booing inside Daily s Place Amphitheater. The show went off the air with both Moxley and Kingston selling the injury, which clashed with how small the blast really was.
After the show ended, Moxley stopped selling the blast and grabbed a microphone, poking fun at the situation.
More Details on WWE NXT Reportedly Leaving Wednesday Nights
A report broke earlier this week via the
WrestleMania
Wrestling Observer
WrestlingNews.
co s Paul Davis then added that advertisers have already been instructed that if they want to buy ads during that week, it will have to be on that Tuesday.
NXT consistently aired on Wednesday nights when it was on the WWE Network, but as part of the jump to USA in late 2019 the show was extended to two hours and was turned into a live broadcast from Full Sail Live. Both weekly episodes and TakeOver events now take place inside the Capitol Wrestling Center.
WWE NXT Superstar Kacy Catanzaro Announces Injury Posted By: Dustin Frisch on Mar 03, 2021
WWE NXT Superstar Kacy Catanzaro has announced that she is suffering with an injury. She has a partial LCL tear.
It was announced last week in the NXT Injury Report that Kacy suffered a leg injury in a post match attack by Xia Li. The NXT report noted that officials were waiting for more information, and it appears Catanzaro was not cleared.
Kacy went on to confirm that this is a real injury via her Instagram post.
“It’s been a tough week.. coming to terms with a partial LCL tear, but working with medical staff to get back as soon as I can. You can’t keep me down,” Catanzaro wrote on Instagram last night.
A new rumor has NXT changing days starting right after WrestleMania. Take this as the unconfirmed rumor that it is for now, but the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast noted on Twitter today that they’ve been told by a “very reliable source” that the show will move to Tuesday nights starting April 13th.
The show’s Twitter account noted that the announcement should be made soon, and in a response to Dave Meltzer noting that there were discussions of such on February 24th but weren’t yet final, the show said that NBC staff were informed of the move this week. USA Network is owned by NBCUniversal, as is the Peacock streaming service which will become the exclusive home of the WWE Network later this month. The podcast further stated that the show is staying on USA Network, and that their source is “straight from someone at NBC.”
