TVS Motor Company Ltd registered volume of 7.65 lakh shares by 10:49 IST on BSE, a 15.08 fold spurt over two-week average daily volume of 50762 shares. The stock rose 14.16% to Rs.646.50. Volumes stood at 89797 shares in the last session.
Aegis Logistics Ltd witnessed volume of 72335 shares by 10:49 IST on BSE, a 6.41 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 11291 shares. The stock increased 8.67% to Rs.315.75. Volumes stood at 18090 shares in the last session.
FMCG stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE FMCG Sector index decreasing 27.85 points or 0.23% at 12154.54 at 13:49 IST. Among the components of the S&P BSE FMCG Sector index, Hindustan Foods Ltd (down 5%), Marico Ltd (down 3.77%),KRBL Ltd (down 2.98%),Agro Tech Foods Ltd (down 2.35%),Varun Beverages Ltd (down 1.74%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Emami Ltd (down 1.68%), Advanced Enzyme Technologies Ltd (down 1.61%), Nestle India Ltd (down 1.45%), Heritage Foods Ltd (down 1.23%), and Globus Spirits Ltd (down 1.17%). On the other hand, Tata Coffee Ltd (up 6.06%), Triveni Engineering and Industries Ltd (up 5.93%), and Kokuyo Camlin Ltd (up 3.67%) turned up.

Tata Consumer Products will be included in the benchmark Nifty50 index, with effect from 31 March, 2021, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) said. Tata Consumer Products is a multinational consumer goods company and a subsidiary of the Tata Group. It reported a 25.26% rise in consolidated net profit to ₹237.03 crore for the third quarter ended December 2020, on the back of higher sales in branded business. GAIL (India) Ltd will be excluded from the Nifty50 index.

Heritage Novandie Foods, a joint venture between Heritage Foods Ltd. and Novandie Foods, a subsidiary of Andros, France, started in 2017, today announced their entry in the Indian market with its first line of products. With the combined legacy close to nine decades of its parent companies, the start-up is now introducing deliciously French Yogurt recipes for the Indian market through their Yoghurt brand â Mamie Yova. In the initial phase, the brand will be available across 5 cities in India, namely, Mumbai, Pune, Surat, Ahmedabad, and Baroda, and plans to scale it up to Hyderabad and Bangalore soon.
FMCG stocks were trading in red, with the S&P BSE FMCG Sector index decreasing 47.13 points or 0.37% at 12727.43 at 13:48 IST. Among the components of the S&P BSE FMCG Sector index, DFM Foods Ltd (down 4.22%), Dwarikesh Sugar Industries Ltd (down 2.16%),Prataap Snacks Ltd (down 1.91%),Dalmia Bharat Sugar & Industries Ltd (down 1.83%),Britannia Industries Ltd (down 1.66%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Godrej Agrovet Ltd (down 1.5%), Future Consumer Ltd (down 1.25%), Heritage Foods Ltd (down 1.25%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd (down 1.2%), and Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation Ltd (down 0.82%). On the other hand, Advanced Enzyme Technologies Ltd (up 8%), Eveready Industries India Ltd (up 5.54%), and Globus Spirits Ltd (up 5.46%) turned up.
