Heritage Middle School reports more than half-a-dozen fights in a week, steps up safety plan

MARYVILLE, Tenn. One student said that there have been so many fights at Heritage Middle School that it created a dangerous environment.
Marie Myer, 12, has been attending the school for a year. She said she never saw anything like this before, with more than half a dozen fights breaking out over the last week.

Actually, the editors of
Macleans Magazine, up there in Canada, apparently didn’t get the memo. They claim there
isn’t any War on Easter, and that “the pleasant lack of springtime controversy suggests the possibility of a peaceful coexistence between religion as heritage and a secular society.”
I should add that the editors of
Macleans Magazine are not really working in an igloo without internet access they have
heard of the War On Easter, but dismiss it as the concern of a “few over-eager culture warriors”.

Boise Schools went back to full time in person learning this week. I have a 7 year old who goes to Mary McPherson with Ada County and we have been in person learning for a while now. Even though my boy loved the freedoms of being home and claims he wants to be home, even though when I pick him up he is excited to tell me about what a fantastic day he had at school, silly, moody child. According to the summery ranking for great schools Mary McPherson got a 9/10.
