Four students of Capro Secondary Mission School located at Gana Ropp in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State were abducted in the early hours of yesterday.
This came as Zamfara State government on Wednesday, asked residents to defend themselves against bandit attacks but with a proviso not to break the law.
However, three of the students managed to escape following the prompt response of security agents while the bandits took one away.
The school, an arm of Calvary Ministries, is a few kilometres away from the Yakubu Gowon Airport and about 60 kilometres from Jos, the state capital.

The Plateau State Police Command Thursday confirmed the abduction of a student Pastor at the King’s School, run by the Calvary International Ministry, also known as CAPRO at Gana Ropp, Barkin Ladi Local government area of Plateau State.
The School which is a few kilometers from the Yakubu Gowon Airport, Heipang in the same local government area was invaded with the aim of kidnapping the students but timely intervention by security agents forced the attackers to withdraw, leaving with four students but three of the abducted students later escaped during a gun battle between the security personnel and the abductors.

Four secondary school students of a secondary school in Plateau State were in the early hours of Thursday abducted from their school.
The four students were abducted at Capro Secondary Mission School at Gana Ropp in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.
However, reports said as the students were being taken away, three of them escaped from their abductors while the fourth students had been taken away and is currently in their captivity.
The school is an arm of Calvary ministries.
Capro is few kilometres away from the Yakubu Gowon airport and about 60 kilometres from Jos, the state capital.
