MP protests against bride kidnapping in plenary session of Parliament of Kyrgyzstan after murder of abducted woman AKIPRESS.COM - MP Emil Toktoshev today has come to the plenary session of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan with a self-made poster in protest against abduction of women for forced marriage. The poster reads: Bride kidnapping is not a tradition. It is criminal offence. It is violence. The lawmaker said he can t participate in the march planned for today and will hold his protest action right in the plenary session room of the Parliament. He said criminal sanctions for such crime should be toughened. All accomplices should be punished to the full strength of the law, the MP said.
