The Minister of Information, Mr Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah has charged the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL) to pursue an aggressive digital transformation which will make it best-placed to take advantage of future opportunities in the media industry.
Applauding Graphic for the strides it had already made in the digital space with its website - www.graphic.com.gh - and the Graphic News App, Graphic NewsPlus, Mr Oppong-Nkrumah said more efforts must be made to boost its digital growth.
The Minister said this when he paid a working visit to the GCGL and interacted with the Board of Directors, Management and Staff.

Minister for Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah is challenging the Ghana News Agency to establish a unique role for itself in the Ghanaian media landscape in order to remain relevant as government’s official news agency.
He made this call on Monday, April 26, 2021, when he paid a visit to the agency as part of a routine tour of relevant agencies and media outlets under his Ministry amid ongoing discussions to restructure state-owned media houses and make them viable players in the industry.

KUALA LUMPUR, April 26 The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) and Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) proceedings have been suspended during the Emergency as per the Dewan Rakyat Speaker’s instructions, said PAC chairman Wong Kah Woh today.
Wong, who is also the Ipoh Timur MP, slammed the statement released by de facto Law Minister Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan today, in which he said there should be no doubt or suspicion of abuse of power by the government as the system was “functioning as usual”, including PAC.
