New Delhi: The parliamentary standing committee on defence intends to visit Galwan Valley and Pangong lake in the eastern Ladakh region, which has been witness to a violent stand-off between the troops of India and China, sources said. However, it may seek the permission of the government before visiting the strategically located areas, they said.

The Lok Sabha has passed the Arbitration and Conciliation (Amendment) Bill.
According to an official order, the first leg of the Budget Session is scheduled to conclude today in an extended sitting of the Upper House till 3 p.m. The sitting for Saturday is cancelled. It was earlier decided that the Session would conclude on February 13 instead of on February 15.

Indian Army is raising a drone army that can hit targets 50-km inside enemy territory, can be used for surveillance of enemy s activities and their movements, and is capable of delivering essential supplies in forward areas.
The fleet called Swarm Drones was showcased by the Indian Army for the first time during the Army Day parade 2021 held in Delhi cantonment on Friday.
During the display, the indigenous swarm drones showed offensive capabilities by executing an array of Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled simulated offensive missions including attacks on targets, including enemy tanks, terror hideouts, radar positions, fuel depots among others, and close support tasks.
