Barcelona fans are now directing their anger at Neymar Jr., after news came out that he has personally called Lionel Messi to try and convince the Argentine to join him at Paris Saint-Germain.
Since leaving FC Barcelona for the French capital in 2017, Neymar s name has still constantly been linked to his former club. Messi himself has spoken up about his disappointment on how the club handled the Brazilian s departure, and has since been lobbying to get him back.

Monaco defeated reigning Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain 0-2 at the Parc des Princes on Sunday. This victory is significant because PSG had just thrashed Barcelona 4-1 earlier in the week. The two sides met in the first leg of their round-of-16 tie in the UEFA Champions League. It was a sobering defeat for Barcelona, who suffered a devastating exit from the Champions League last season. They now have a massive mountain to climb if they wish to stay in this season s competition.

Brazil and FC Barcelona legend Rivaldo has some strong opinions about Lionel Messi s future. Following Barcelona s devastating defeat at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain in the round-of-16 of the UEFA Champions League, Rivaldo thinks that Messi will be leaving the club this summer. Furthermore, he thinks that the Argentine s destination is PSG, the very same team that had just humiliated his current club.
On Tuesday, PSG came away with a 4-1 victory against the Catalan giants. It s not looking optimistic for a Barcelona comeback, and the loss may very well drive Messi to make a decision about his contract.
