Board approves faculty appointments

The Princeton University Board of Trustees has approved the appointment of faculty members, including one full professor, one associate professor and eight assistant professors.
Professor
Emily Greenwood, in classics and the University Center for Human Values, specializes in ancient Greek prose literature and classical receptions. Her appointment is effective July 1, 2021.
Greenwood comes to Princeton from Yale University, where she has taught since 2009, most recently as a professor of classics with a courtesy secondary appointment in African American studies. She previously taught at St. Andrews University as a lecturer from 2000 to 2008
Paris Blockchain Week promises in-depth analysis
From April 13-19, the Paris Blockchain Week will host numerous events under the joint High Patronage of the French Ministry for the Economy and Finance and the Secretary of State for Digital Affairs. The whole week will be dedicated to blockchain and crypto-assets.
The Paris Blockchain Week aims at showcasing the French crypto-asset ecosystem and will gather the most prominent international organizations of the industry for a series of events.
“France has decided to take blockchain seriously,” Minister of the Economy and Finance Bruno LeMaire said. “Among other things, it has drafted an exclusive framework for crypto-assets, guaranteeing trust for users and high flexibility for the industry’s organizations. The Paris Blockchain Week will prove the dynamism of the French ecosystem, which has everything needed to become a worldwide industry leader.”
BNP Paribas Asset Management Appoints Head Of Fixed Income Date

BNP Paribas Asset Management (‘BNPP AM’) announces the appointment of Olivier de Larouzière as Chief Investment Officer for Global Fixed Income, as of 23 April 2021. Olivier is based in Paris and reports to Rob Gambi, BNPP AM’s Global Head of Investments.
Olivier will be responsible for managing BNPP AM’s global fixed income platform, with a strong focus on investment performance and commercial success. He will retain his existing responsibilities as Head of BNPP AM’s Global Multi Strategy Product (GMS) team and will additionally join BNPP AM’s Business, Investment and Investment Management committees.
