Saturday, May 15, 2021 7:26 pm Doris Rogers, 72, of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Parkridge Medical Center. She was born on Aug. 7, 1948, to the late Ted and Jean Kennedy in Augusta, Ga. She was everyone’s Aunt Doris, never met a stranger and made everyone feel welcomed. Doris took joy in cooking and hosting family gatherings with her husband. Creative and crafty with sewing, crochet, jewelry, sewed lots of wedding dresses, bridesmaid’s gowns and wedding cakes for her family. She was very outgoing and most of all loved to travel anywhere, but her favorite was the beach. She was incredibly supportive of her husband, and a loving mother.

Parkridge Health Names Robert Magill, MD, Assistant Chief Medical Officer Wednesday, January 27, 2021 Robert Magill, MD, has been named assistant chief medical officer of Parkridge Health System. Since 2017, Dr. Magill has served as Parkridge Health’s chief of staff and Envision Physician Services regional medical director of hospitalist services. In his role as ACMO, Dr. Magill will collaborate with Parkridge Health Market Chief Medical Officer Timothy M. Grant, MD, MBA, to manage day-to-day chief medical officer duties for Parkridge Medical Center and Parkridge East Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Magill will have oversight of clinical quality and patient safety, clinical informatics, pharmacy, and the medical staff office.

Harnsberger, Benjamin Daniel Monday, December 28, 2020 Dr. Benjamin Daniel Harnsberger Dr. Benjamin Daniel Harnsberger, 77, of Lookout Mountain, Tennessee, was received by his Lord and Savior on Christmas Day, December 25, 2020, surrounded by his wife and children. Born in Macon, Georgia, he was the son of the late C. Benjamin Harnsberger and Jeannette Wagnon Harnsberger. Dr. Harnsberger graduated from Emory University in 1964 and then completed medical school at Emory University College of Medicine in 1968. He concluded his medical internship at Emory University, followed by service in the Medical Corps with the United States Navy in Norfolk, Virginia. Following his Pulmonary fellowship at Emory University, he and his family moved to Chattanooga in 1974. He began his medical practice in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care with Parkridge Medical Group - Diagnostic Center, where he found it to be his highest honor and privilege to serve and care for his patients.
