The OxygenOS 11 update with Android 11 for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T series phones has been riddled with bugs, with several users complaining on foums. OnePlus is now rolling out a hotfix update for these phones to patch the bugs, as well as rollout Android 11 to the units that were left on Android 10. The update weighs around 200MB if you already installed the previous Android 11 update. For those still stuck on Android 10, the update package weight nearly 2GB. OxygenOS 11.0.0.2 hotfix rolling out for the OnePlus 7 and 7T series
OnePlus started rolling out the Android 11 update back in late March, but pretty quickly it became apparent that there were issues with the new firmware, so the rollout was halted. Now, nearly a month later, the company has a hotfix that resolves the “unforeseen bugs” in the original release (the bugs themselves are never explicitly listed).

Here’s OxygenOS 11.0.0.2 for the OnePlus 7, 7 Pro, 7T and 7T Pro. This update has been rolling out over the weekend, but it goes in stages and only a limited number of users have received it. So, don’t worry if you haven’t received the notification yet, it’s coming (note: using a VPN to jump to the head of the queue might not work, some report that they can’t get it even through Oxygen Updater).
