MCHENRY COUNTY, IL Days after an Amber Alert was issued for a missing Wisconsin girl, police there say she was reunited with her family, and her father has been extradited back to Illinois, where he is facing a felony charge. Jocelyn Van Duyn, 10, was reported missing Sunday after police say she was last seen at her mother s home on Saturday night.
Police said the girl did not pack a bag or take a jacket, and they believed she might be with her biological father, Jonathan Van Duyn.

WALWORTH â The 10-year-old girl from near Lake Geneva who went missing on Saturday was found with her biological father, who had a warrant out for his arrest and was reportedly going on an epic adventure. Â
Jocelyn Van Duyn was recovered by law enforcement in Hartsville, Indiana, alive and safe, at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, according to an updated release from the Wisconsin Department of Justice.
âFBI Indianapolis Division SWAT and Bartholomew County Sheriffâs Office took Jonathan (Van Duyn) into custody without incident this morning,â the release stated. âJonathan will be held in Indiana before being extradited to McHenry County, Illinois where he is wanted on an active warrant for failure to appear. Family is traveling to Indiana to reunite with Jocelyn. Â

Ten-year-old Jocelyn Van Duyn was recovered by law enforcement in Hartsville, Indiana, alive and safe, at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Jocelyn was found with her biological father, Jonathan J. Van Duyn (age 33), according to the DOJ. FBI Indianapolis Division SWAT and Bartholomew County Sheriffâs Office took Jonathan into custody without incident on Tuesday morning. Jonathan will be held in Indiana before being extradited to McHenry County, Illinois where he is wanted on an active warrant for failure to appear.
As of Tuesday, family was traveling to Indiana to reunite with Jocelyn.
âLaw enforcement would like to sincerely thank members of the public who shared information and helped lead to the safe recovery of Jocelyn,â a DOJ release stated.

HARTSVILLE, Ind. – Jocelyn Van Duyn, a 10-year-old girl reported missing from Walworth, Wisconsin, last Sunday, was discovered by law enforcement in Bartholomew County, alive and safe, on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
Jocelyn was found in Hartsville with her biological father, Jonathan Van Duyn. The child’s family is traveling to Indiana to reunite with her.
FBI Indianapolis Division SWAT and the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jonathan without incident. He will be held in Indiana before being extradited to Illinois, where he is wanted on an active warrant.
This continues to be an active investigation led by the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division, the FBI Milwaukee Division, and the Walworth Police Department.
