Body found in Falmouth Harbor confirmed as missing Yarmouth woman by authorities

FALMOUTH   Sharee W. Daluze was remembered by friends Tuesday as a strong, giving person who didn t seek sympathy when life wasn t going well. The body of the 34-year-old Yarmouth woman was found Tuesday morning after she was last seen Monday. The death remains under investigation, but authorities say they do not suspect foul play at this time.  Someone reported seeing a body at about 10:18 a.m. Tuesday in Falmouth Harbor near the intersection of Deacons and Vernon avenues, Lt. Douglas DeCosta said in an email.   The Falmouth Police Department issued a missing persons alert on its social media Tuesday morning for Daluze, who was staying at a sober home on Locust Street in Falmouth, DeCosta said. 

Hyannis: Two men charged with possession of fentanyl, cocaine and a gun

BARNSTABLE Sitting in Barnstable District Court on Monday, Jordan Maddox watched his friend, Leslie J. Ostapchuk, plead not guilty to firearms and weapons charges. Ostapchuk, 30, and Robert J. Perry, 29, both of Hyannis, were arraigned on charges of trafficking between 36-100 grams of fentanyl, trafficking 18-36 grams of cocaine, conspiracy to violate the controlled substance act, possession of a firearm without a license to carry, possession of ammunition and possession of a large capacity feeding device. Ostapchuk was also charged with possessing a Class B drug, and Perry was charged with a firearm violation with two prior violent/drug crimes, according to a criminal complaint filed in Barnstable District Court. Perry pleaded not guilty to the charges during his arraignment.
