JANESVILLE - A Beloit man allegedly assaulted multiple people in a domestic abuse incident on Dec. 19 at an apartment in Janesville, according to a Rock County Circuit Court criminal complaint.Â
James A. Denson, 39, allegedly began arguing with a woman at a home on Dupont Drive in Janesville when he allegedly pushed a man down the stairs after he attempted to protect the woman. Denson then allegedly grabbed the woman by the hair before body-slamming her and putting her into a vehicle, the complaint said.Â
Denson fled with the woman before police arrived at the scene. Officers forced entry to a home on East Racine Street in Janesville where Denson was taken into custody.Â

JANESVILLEâA Beloit woman faces charges after she allegedly attempted to arrange an exchange of sex acts for drugs at a Janesville motel on Dec. 17, according to a Rock County Circuit Court criminal complaint.
Jordyn L. Otto, 23, allegedly made contact with a Janesville police officer through an online forum and had arranged to meet at the motel in the 3900 block of Milton Avenue where a transaction of sex acts for drugs would take place, the complaint claims.
Otto attempted to run from officers and was arrested at a nearby gas station, the complaint said.
Otto is charged with attempted delivery of cocaine and prostitution.
