Rural Olmsted County Home Hit by Bullet Get our free mobile app Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Olmsted County Sheriff s Deputies responded to a home in Rock Dell Township Sunday evening after the homeowner discovered someone had shot his house. The 29-year-old man indicated he returned to his home in the 9600 block of County Road 108 near High Forest around 4 PM and noticed a strange odor inside the house. Several hours later, the man discovered a bullet hole near the front door. Sheriff s Captain Scott Behrns says the deputies were sent to the property around 8:15 PM and found a bullet had passed through the exterior wall and struck an interior wall. It s suspected the odor was caused by the dust and other materials disturbed by the bullet as it went through the wall.
