A father of two daughters was charged in the Sessions Court with three counts of sexual misconduct against his two children.
The 39-year-old suspect, however, pleaded not guilty and asked to be tried when the charge was read before Judge Ahmad Bazli Bahruddin yesterday, on 30 December.
As reported by Harian Metro, the prosecution was conducted by Deputy Public Prosecutor, Abu Arsalnaa Zainal Abidin. The accused was represented by a lawyer named Syed Muhammad Syafiq Syed Abu Bakar.
According to the charge, the accused was charged for committing actions with sexual intent on his six-year-old daughter at 5pm in Machang, Kelantan on 1 December.

Kota Kinabalu: A 25-year-old man pleaded guilty to committing sexual abuse against an eight year-old girl.
However, Mohd Yusrie Mohd Zaini’s sentencing was deferred to Jan 14 next year following an application by the prosecution.
Mohd Yusrie made the plea before Sessions Court Judge Abu Bakar Manat.

Mohd Yusrie is accused of committing sexual offence against the minor by raping the girl between 8.30am and 9am on Nov 25 this year in the bushes in Inanam.
The offence under Section 14(a)of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 (Act 792) provides for a jail term of up to 20 years, and whipping, on conviction.

Kota Kinabalu: A 39-year-old foreigner claimed trial to two counts of committing sexual offence against two siblings.
Selamat Asing made the plea before Sessions Court Judge Azreena Aziz, after the charges against him was read.
On the first count, Selamat is accused of committing the offence by touching and inserting his finger into the seven years-old girl’s private part in a house in a village in Sipitang between April and August this year.

On the second count, he allegedly committed the same offence against a five-year-old girl at the same place and time.
