A paedophile caught with child rape photos says he s trying to change by learning the guitar and listening to podcasts.
John Hamilton was jailed for two years in 2011 for possessing, downloading and distributing indecent images of children. The then 27-year-old, from Widnes, was told to sign on the Sex Offenders Register and hit with a 10-year Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO).
That prevented him possessing a photo of any child under 16, unless they were a family member and he had the permission of their parent or guardian.
A consultant radiologist who secretly recorded strangers, work colleagues and even family friends using the toilet for sexual thrills was struck off with immediate effect today.
The Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service began hearing evidence last week and reconvened this morning to announce the sanction to be imposed on 52-year-old consultant radiologist Mark McClure.
“The tribunal has determined that the sanction that should be imposed is one of erasure,” announced the chairperson.
She later declared the “erasure” will take effect immediately and will also cover the 28 days in which McClure can appeal the panels decision.
McClure has only recently been freed from prison having served four and a half months behind bars, including over Christmas, after he admitted 11 counts of voyeurism.

A disgraced doctor who secretly recorded strangers, colleagues and even family friends using toilets is facing being struck-off the medical register following disciplinary proceedings this week.
Sex creep Mark McClure (52) has only recently been freed from prison having served half of a nine-month sentence behind bars after he admitted 11 counts of voyeurism.
A hearing before the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) began against McClure in Manchester on Monday and is scheduled to run until this Wednesday.
The tribunal is expected to deliver its findings and sanctions within 28 days of the hearing.
McClure, a radiologist, is formerly from Hillsborough but more recently has had an address in Bangor West, Co Down.
