Zambian young people are becoming easier to get reproductive health services
since the introduction of youth-friendly corners in a number of health facilities across the country.
LUSAKA, Jan. 18 (Xinhua) I once had an infection that prompted me to seek help at a nearby health facility. When I got there I was interrogated and told that only older and often promiscuous people get that kind of infection. I felt sad and ashamed, recounted 18-year-old Comfort Mbewe.

For many young people in Zambia, accessing reproductive health services is often never an easy undertaking as most of them are not free to talk about their needs especially with adults due to cultural beliefs.
However, since the introduction of Youth-friendly corners in a number of health facilities across the country, the situation is steadily improving.
