Car driven at shop window in East End could be linked to late night street blaze A CAR was driven into a shop window in the East End last night. Two men dressed in balaclavas and dark clothing were seen trying to get into the shop in Duke Street at around 11pm but are believed to have left empty-handed. We told earlier how a car was set ablaze in a residential street in Riddrie last night. Firefighters were on the scene to extinguish the blaze in Grierson Street around 15 minutes later. Police are examining whether the two incidents are linked and are treating the smash as an attempted break-in.
