In response, Alaska banned 14 of the passengers on that flight just some of a growing number of disruptive passengers airlines are putting on their own no-fly lists. And President Joe Biden has signed an executive order making face coverings mandatory on planes, the latest move to ensure passengers wear masks, after the Federal Aviation Administration announced several weeks ago it will start taking legal action over such behavior.

© Greg Nash The United States Capitol Police is bolstering security at airports and train stations in Washington, D.C., as former President Trump In an email sent to members and staff and obtained by The Hill, acting House Sergeant-at-Arms Timothy Blodgett said that Capitol Police officers will provide extra security on days when a lot of lawmakers are traveling. Officers will be stationed at Baltimore-Washington International Airport, Dulles International Airport and Ronald Regan Washington National Airport to monitor members as they move throughout the airports. In addition, officers will be stationed at the Union Station railway stop. ADVERTISEMENT Blodgett also said that the Senate sergeant-at-arms has created a portal to coordinate travel information for members.
