Scholarships for Franklin Park seniors
Applications for the Franklin Park Community Scholarship are now available for any graduating senior who resides in the borough. Each year Franklin Park typically awards 10 $1,000 scholarships.
One scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing post-secondary education at a trade or technical school. This scholarship is named for Melvin D. Lubert, a borough employee who passed away unexpectedly while on duty at the Public Works Department.
Up to two scholarships may be awarded to qualified junior firefighters. The remaining scholarships are awarded based on community service, academic and other criteria.
