PASCO COUNTY, Fla A small, black kitten is now sleeping in his cozy, new home after being rescued from the undercarriage of a car in Pasco County.
On May 10, the Pasco Sheriff s Office posted about the rescue on Facebook showing how deputies worked to free the tiny kitten who was stuck for nearly 2 days.
“The kitten was stuck for almost two days without food or water. Deputies worked for nearly two and a half hours to rescue their tiny friend, even removing parts of the undercarriage that the kitten was wedged underneath. Thankfully, the kitten was freed and is safe with plenty of food and water!” the sheriff s office wrote.

Three Orange County residents face homicide charges related to the death of a 52-year-old man in New Port Richey, according to the Pasco Sheriffâs Office.
Christopher Neff, 38, Krystal Kerri Koren, 37, brother and sister, and Kevin Scott Barnes Jr., 31, were arrested on charges of murder for the death of Matthew Parrish, who was found shot at a New Port Richey Sunoco on April 25. All three remain in jail in Orange County while they await extradition to Pasco County, officials said.

NEW PORT RICHEY â A 29-year-old man was rescued from his sinking boat on Saturday, according to the Coast Guard.
Shawn Brown was the operator of a 23-foot boat that was seen sinking off the coast of Pasco County, the Coast Guard said.
Coast Guard Sector St. Petersburg received a report about the sinking vessel and issued a marine bulletin. It also sent a 29-foot response boat to help from the Coast Guard Station Sand Key station in Clearwater Beach to go help.
