Today s new case count remains around the same level as previous days, with ups and downs in other categories.
Today, B.C. unveiled details about its four-phase plan to roll out vaccines in the province that will continue until September, and will be administered by descending age groups from senior to young adults.
However, not everyone was pleased with the order of priority based on age, including the B.C. Teachers Federation who want teachers and other frontline workers given higher priority for immunization.

Once again, case numbers appear to be under control in several categories but the number of deaths remain at concerning levels.
There are two new healthcare outbreaks and seven flights with potential exposures.
Also, a class at Sir Charles Tupper Secondary School has been instructed by Vancouver Coastal Health to self-isolate at home due to an individual at the school testing positive.
Meanwhile, in a bid to maintain business during the pandemic, the Rio Theatre announced it will operate as a sports bar, rather than as a movie theatre or performing arts venue. Cinemas are not allowed to operate under current provincial health orders, which continue until February 5, but bars are able to remain open.
Northern Health continues to see large impacts from COVID-19.
In a written statement this afternoon (Jan. 20), Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry announced 500 new cases discovered in the past day in B.C., which brings the total to 62,412.
Of those, Northern Health recorded 35 more infections for an updated authority total of 2,978.
Health officials also announced 14 more people in B.C. have died from the virus, which brings the fatality rate to 1,104.
One of those new deaths took place in the north for a new regional toll of 54 since the pandemic began.
There are 4,345 people listed as active for COVID-19 throughout the province, 320 of whom are in hospital with 66 in critical care.
